SMC Integration Solutions is seeking a Customer Business Specialist for our facility in Nicholasville, KY. The Customer Business Specialist supports the customer service department with administrative duties, including but not limited to data entry, maintenance of reports, filing, message and note taking, and other duties as assigned by the manager.

- Responsible for Email correspondence with customers internal and external
- Proficient with Excel and Word skills are a must
- Must be able to multitask and have effective Time Management skills
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Excellent organizational planning and prioritization skills
- Entry of customer orders
- Confirmation of customer orders in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail and effective quote-to-order comparison
- Entry of detailed custom customer orders
- Electronic and manual (paper) filing
- Responsible for updating and preparing multiple reports and spreadsheets
- Communicate effectively across the team
- Collaborate with other members of the team to support issues that arise
- Participate in projects as needed and provide a balanced focus on customer service
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and fellow employees
- Serve as a resource to other departments when they are in need of information
- Represent customer service in internal meetings or calls with customers if the Strategic Business Manager is not available
- Other duties as assigned by the manager

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
